SALLY S. STINSON HAMILTON

 This photo is of the very lovely Sally S. Stinson Hamilton (1890-1972). Sally was the daughter of Jacob and Siddie Woodyard Stinson. She married Grover Cleveland Hamilton (1888-1972), who was the son of Saunders M. and Sallie Mustard Hamilton.

 Grover and Sally had four children: Georgia Ann Hamilton Hoge (Edward “Meek”), Helen Hamilton Argabrite (Robert), Evelyn “Ditty” Hamilton Newberry (John Price “Pete”), and Thelma “Dot” Hamilton Gilmore (Stanley).

 The photo is from the Mike Gordon collection at the Bland County Historical Society. Mike believes that this photo was taken on or near Sally and Grover’s wedding date; however, their wedding date is unknown. Anyone with more information may contact Brenda King at the society office (276) 688-0088.
