Only a few Shopping Fridays left until the Bland County Historical Society Closes for the Winter

The Bland County Historical Society is open on Fridays from 9-4.  We have lots of interesting Christmas gifts for you and your Bland County relatives, near and far. 

 

New items this year are: 

·        Beautiful 2015 BCHS Calendar featuring the Home Sweet Homes of Bland County

·        Christmas ornaments, featuring the Big Walker Lookout Tower and the Big Walker Mountain Tunnel on I-77.  We still have available ornaments from previous years of the Bland County Courthouse, the old Bland County Jail, the historic Wolf Creek Bridge in Rocky Gap, and a replica of Sharon College. 

·        Sharon Puckett Prints of scenes of Mechanicsburg (new this year); Bland, Ceres, Rocky Gap and Bastian.

·        The BCHS Afghan featuring a map of Bland County with place names indicated and bordered by four seasonal scenes of the county painted by Pat Turner

We will be open tevery Friday between now and December 19, including Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving from 9 AM to 4 PM. 

 

On December 19, 2014 at 4pm, we will be closing the Society Office for the winter.  Watch for an announcement of our re-opening date in April, 2015.  While we are closed, we will continue to take orders and answer your genealogical research questions.
